Our mission is to deliver modern, compassionate dentistry in a place that feels warm, inclusive, and deeply rooted in the neighborhood. We strive to make every patient feel seen, supported, and truly welcomed while providing care that inspires confidence and comfort.
Dr. Mike Moody, DDS
Dr. Moody’s approach centers on trust, compassion, and meaningful patient relationships. He believes the best dental outcomes happen when patients feel heard, supported, and truly cared for. He creates a warm, welcoming environment and guides each person on a personalized path toward long-term oral health and confidence.
Dr. Moody graduated with distinction from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and completed advanced training in Hospital Dentistry at the Portland VA. His residency provided extensive experience managing complex dental cases and caring for patients with significant medical considerations.
Outside the office, Dr. Moody loves exploring Oregon, rock climbing, paddleboarding, and hitting the trails with his Bernedoodle bestie, Cooper. He teaches dental residents at the VA Hospital and loves finding Portland’s culinary scene, and he is happy to share his recommendations! With a love for adventure and community, he brings warmth and energy to everything he does.
Dr. Stephanie Ng
Dr. Stephanie Ng began her dental journey as a young patient in a caring dentist’s chair. Her early experiences with dentistry set off her life long mission to become a dentist to help others achieve happy, healthy smiles. Originally an East Coast native, Dr. Ng attended Muhlenberg College before being accepted to the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for her doctorate.
Dr. Ng graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She then furthered her training by pursuing a general practice residency at the Portland VA Hospital where she took on many complex cases and fine tuned her skills in treatment planning, surgery, and prosthodontics. Dr. Ng has a passion for dentistry and people that coalesce in a wonderful way to deliver the optimal patient experience. It is this intersection that facilitates Dr. Ng’s dedication to holistic patient care.
When she’s not practicing dentistry you’ll typically catch Dr. Ng on the run! An accomplished athlete, you can find her at the front of races on the road and track all across the Pacific Northwest (and country!). Dr. Ng has big plans to continue exploring the beautiful natural sights her new home in the PNW has to offer. At home, you’ll find her spending time with her loving husband Declan, and 3 cats; Currant, Lex, and Beau.

Cooper
Comfort Companion
Cooper is a very special part of our office. He is a super cute Bernedoodle who can make anyone smile! He is smart and caring, and brings comfort to everyone he meets! Bonus: he offers free cuddles! When Cooper is not at work, you can find him enjoying the outdoors with Dr. Moody!
Kristin
Dental Hygienist
Kristin, a warm dental hygienist from Oregon, has been comforting patients for five years. Her friendly nature has earned her many fans. Outside of work, she loves yoga, musical theater, traveling, and reading, and shares her home with her husband and their two poodles, Hamilton and Eleanor.
Nikki
Dental Assistant
Nikki began her dental career as a dental assistant in 2010 and joined Uptown Family Dental in 2021. Her favorite part of her job is watching patients improve their oral health and overcoming their dental fears. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her family and dog, LuLu. If she's not watching her sons play college football or spending time with her 3 grandchildren, you can find her running, hiking, and exploring the beautiful northwest.
Bonnie
Office Manager
Bonnie has over 10 years of dental experience, working across all dental specialties like pediatrics, sleep apnea, ortho, and root canals (aka: she has seen it all!). Outside the office, she likes to give back to her community by volunteering with local organizations and coordinating our hygiene kit donations. She loves spending time with her children and their new puppy - Princess Buttercup.
Tracey
Dental Hygienist
With over 25 years of experience as a dental hygienist, Tracey is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care while building lasting relationships with patients. Tracey excels with helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their oral health journey. Tracey loves to form a connection with her patients and finds this to be the most rewarding parts of her career. Outside of the office, Tracey enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters. As a family, they love camping, boating, hiking, and making the most of the outdoors together.
Brooke
Dental Assistant
Brooke has been in the dental field for 12 years and loves helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. She’s a proud mom of two amazing kids and an animal lover with one adventurous pup and two curious cats who keep her on her toes. Whether she’s exploring trails with her dog or managing the chaos at home, Brooke brings energy and heart to everything she does.

Dental Hygienist
Sara has over 15 years of experience as a dental hygienist and loves helping patients feel confident in their smiles. Sara treats every patient like family and excels in creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the door. Outside of the office, you can find Sara with her husband, two boys and four French bulldogs. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, volunteering in the community, and traveling the world.
Lilia
Dental Assistant
Lilia began her career in dentistry in 2022 after graduating from Concorde Career College. As a dedicated dental assistant, she is passionate about patient care and creating a comfortable experience for every patient. She is driven to continue learning and advancing her skills in the dental field. Outside of the office you she loves spending time with her two cats and four guinea pigs.
Natasha
Finance Coordinator
Natasha recently transferred her experience in client services to the dental world. She loves working in a field full of so many smiles. When she is not in the office you can find her adventuring with her family or working on one of her many sewing projects.
